Return and Refund

SHIPPING
Return Policies
  • Time Frame: 14-day return window from the date of delivery.

  • Condition:  Must be undamaged and returned in the same condition as received.

  • Refund Type: Refund processed to the original payment method.

  • Proof of Damage: If returning due to damage, the buyer must provide photos of the damage within 48 hours of receiving the painting.

  • Return Shipping Costs:  Return shipping costs and insurance are to be covered by the buyer.

 

Refund Processes

Initiating the Return

  • Contact the Seller: The buyer should reach out to the seller to peacockartgallery49@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving the item. 

  • Provide Information: Include order details, reason for return, and any supporting documentation (e.g., photos of damage, order receipt).

 

Preparing the Artwork for Return

  • Repackaging: The buyer should securely package the painting in its original or equivalent protective materials to avoid damage during transit.

  • Condition Check: Ensure that the painting is in its original condition to meet the return policy criteria.

Shipping the Artwork

  • Return Shipping Costs: It is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is either damaged or incorrect.

  • Insurance: It’s advisable for the buyer to insure the shipment to protect against potential damage during return transit.

  • Tracking: Use a shipping service that provides tracking to monitor the return and confirm its arrival.

 

Receiving and Inspecting the Return

  • Inspection by Seller: Once received, the seller will inspect the painting to ensure it meets the return criteria.

  • Damage Assessment: If the item was returned due to damage or defect, this will be confirmed through inspection.

 

Processing the Refund

  • Approval of Return: If the return is approved, the seller will process the refund.

  • Refund Method: The refund is usually processed through the original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal).

  • Processing Time: Refunds may take a few business days to process, often up to 5-10 days, depending on the payment provider.

 

Refund Confirmation

  • Notification: The buyer will receive confirmation via email or other communication once the refund is processed.

  • Full or Partial Refund: Depending on the condition of the returned item and the seller’s policy, the buyer may receive a full or partial refund.
