Min Wae Aung
Born in Danubyu, Myanmar, Aung studied landscape and portrait painting at Yangon’s State School of Fine Arts. He combines those two genres to create his signature subject matter, employing the vivid, warm color palettes traditional to the monks’ garb. His famous paintings held in the collections of the Singapore Art Museum, the National Museum of Myanmar, and the Fukuoka Art Museum.

Sein Myint
Sein Myint was born in 1945 in the Sagaing Hills in Upper Myanmar near the City of Mandalay. After completing high school, he continued his studies until he reached the final year at Mandalay Arts and Science University, majoring in Myanmar language and literature. In 1987, his watercolor painting titled "Irrawaddy River Scene" won a prize at the International UNICEF Painting Competition.

Win Pe
Win Pe was born on June 16th, 1935, and is one of Myanmar’s most celebrated living artists. Along with his close friends Kin Maung Yin and Paw Oo Thett, Win Pe was a leader of Myanmar’s modern art movement in the 1960s. In the 1970s and 1980s, he was a successful film director, winning Myanmar’s equivalent of the Academy Award in 1981. He is also a respected short story writer.

Myint Oo was born in 1963 in Mandalay, Myanmar. He has lived in Aung Pan, Southern Shan State, since childhood. He studied under Myint Kyi, Might Might (Pyay), Win Pe Myint, and Maung Aw. He has been a member of the New Treasure Art Gallery since 1996.
